Jon Haas, Shidōshi Instructor
Jon has been involved in the martial arts for over 28 years. He has been training in the Budō Taijutsu arts of the Bujinkan for more than 21 years and is currently ranked as a Kudan (9th degree black belt) under Jack Hoban Shidōshi. He is also a student at Jack's Spring Lake Dōjō.

Jon is also featured in "The Art of the Ninja," an instructional video produced by Black Belt Magazine and Jack Hoban Shidōshi.

Jon also owns the Warrior Fitness martial arts, exercise, wellness, and nutrition blog.



Josh Sager, Bujinkan Dojo Princeton Shidoshi Instructor

Josh Sager, Shidōshi Instructor
Josh has over 35 years experience in the martial arts and is a student at Jack Hoban Shidōshi's Spring Lake Dōjō. He is currently ranked as a Kudan (9th degree black belt) in the Bujinkan under Jack.

Josh is also a published author and accomplished musician.

He also owns two blogs — the Fretterverse guitar blog, and blog.joshsager.com, a blog dedicated to Thai language and culture.





Jack Hoban, Buyu Dojo Director

Jack Hoban, Buyū Dōjō Director
Jack Hoban is a former U.S. Marine Corps Captain and long time practitioner of martial arts. He is a Shidōshi Senior Instructor in the Togakure Ryū Ninjutsu system under Bujinkan Grandmaster Hatsumi Masaaki in Japan, and has authored three books on warriorship. Jack also holds an MBA, and is an executive in the healthcare industry.

Jack currently serves on the U.S. Marine Corps Close Combat Review Board as a Subject Matter Expert, is a published author, and has released a video series for Black Belt Magazine entitled "The Art of the Ninja."

Hatsumi Masaaki, Bujinkan Dōjō Grandmaster
Hatsumi Masaaki is the founder and current Sōke (Grandmaster) of the Bujinkan organization, currently residing and teaching in the city of Noda, Chiba, Japan. He is also a doctor of oriental medicine, specializing in the mending of bones.
